Entering the Worlds of the Cyber-    Shaman

Special Note on this Sound File: We journeyed into the South American Rainforests outside of Ecuador and experienced an initiation with some native Shamans. We participated in several shamanic journeys and recorded excerpts from these events. One of these magical songs, known as an icaros , has been mixed with some evocative electronic sounds to create this piece. The Shaman is singing and whistling in the background. The rhythmic scratching (natural percussion) is the Shaman shaking palm fronds over the group. Rain, wind and other jungle sounds can also be heard. All of these elements are part of the magical ceremonies that they use for healing, interdimensional travel and Shapeshifting.
