Description: These wands are wrapped with sterling silver. The wand is
a 12 sided natural quartz crystal Vogel (clear to smokey) cut
wand approximately 1-1/2" long and the entire pendant is
approximately 2-1/4". The ametrine is emerald cut (rectangular-octagon)
and approximately 2.75 carets. The garnet is a trillion cut
(triangle-brilliant) and approximately 2 carets. There are 2
small AAA fine herkimer diamonds.
Vogel Cut Crystals -- (Excerpted from Allen's
website) "Vogels" are healing, energy moving tools named for
their designer and inventor, Marcel Vogel. Marcel was Scientist,
Inventor and Researcher who accumulated over 100 patents during
his career at IBM, where he became a Vice-President of Research
& Development before retiring. Among the technologies he developed
are: Early Liquid Crystal Display screens; the use of sound to
grow very large, perfect silicone crystals for cutting into computer
chips (if you have ever seen the "Quartz Singing Bowls",
this was his invention and that was their original purpose); and
a way around an "unsolvable" problem in cutting these
chips that allowed us to reduce their size to about 1/20th of
here they were. His creativity & technical prowess are more than
a little well know in computer science circles, there is more
information available about Mr. Vogel and his work online if you
search.
After an experience with a natural Quartz crystal,
he became intrigued and turned his considerable skills toward
working with this medium. Eventually, he became so involved in
metaphysics that he retired to form his own company, Psychic Research
Inc., who's mission was to study and make measurable the energy
& effect of Human love/attention: what he called "prahna".
These lenses are one of the products of that endeavor & were originally
produced by PRI.
These creations of his are pretty well known
& popular, so a number of people make these Vogel style cuts but
most of them are "knock-offs": Vogel was a scientist
and very precise about how these were to be cut (length along
the c-axis of the crystal for example) to work best. The lenses
I use in my art are cut by one of the cutters Marcel employed
at PRI, and are made to his specifications in order to be working
tools.
The
wearable Vogels are one of my favorite types of jewelry to make.
I like spreading the awareness of Mr. Vogel's endeavors to those
who donât yet know about him, and making quality made pieces of

Garnet - It acts with speed due to the flash of lightning contained
within, helping one to change ones world by producing both expansiveness

ultimate state of perfection. It disperses negativity from the
aura and fills the voids with energizing and stabalizing qualities
of pure light energy. It penetrates and facilitates the release
of blockages in the physical, mental, emotional and auric bodies,
allowing for the release of the associated tension and for the
initiation of proper functioning of that which was affected.
It can be used to stabilize and/or correct the RNA/DNA structuring

Herkimer
Diamond - The energy of the Herkimer Diamond helps one to
begin again in this lifetime, while allowing one to recognize
one's inner space and to remember that there is "nothing
to become" -- that one IS that which one has been seeking
and only needs to allow the actualization. It also assists one
in clearing the body-mind system of unconscious fears and repressions,
allowing for total relaxation and expansion of the life energy.
In addition, the Herkimer Diamond stimulates clairvoyant and
clairaudient abilities and can assist one in prescience and
in telepathic communication. The Herkimer Diamond is quite useful

Herkimer Diamonds from Allen at Intuitively Inspired Jewelry:
Herkimer
Diamonds come only from a small area around Little Falls, NY.
Though there are quartz crystals roughly similar in appearance
from several other locations throughout the world, they do not
match the brightness and clarity of the Herkimer Diamond. I
often read pages that say "Herkimers have recently been found
in Argentina" or " This piece has a Herkimer Diamond from Mexico"(or
wherever else), these may be lovely quartz crystals from these
other places, and though they may be similar: They are not
Herkimer Diamonds. The closest crystals I have ever seen
are from Argentina, but though they come close, they do not
match the brightness or the clarity of the true Herkimer. If it says Herkimer on any of my pages it means Herkimer Diamond
from New York, ALWAYS. In fact, the band of crystal occurrence
in New York is approximately 10 miles x 50 miles, and it is
only one small "sweet spot" within this band that produces what
can really be called the Herkimer Diamond; most of that area
produces crystals that are more properly called "Doubly terminated
quartz". About 90% of the Herkimer Diamonds I use in my work
are mined from the "Ace of Diamonds" mine in Little Falls NY.
Herkimer
energy is like that of clear quartz, easily programmable and
attuned to your personal areas of conflict to clear blockages
and reveal/facilitate new avenues of growth. Herkimers also
intensify and clarify dreaming, with the effect of increasing
your personal self-awareness when you are within a dream, as
well as allowing you to bring more of your dream consciousness
back into your waking reality.

For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated
with stones and crystals, with science and spirituality always
drawing my attention too, a fusion these inspire and inform
my jewelry art. I started with the jewelry rather randomly,
wrapping a stone I wanted to wear with a bit of wire pulled
from paper twist-tie. Before long, some one spotted it on me
and mentioned there was silver wire for such a thing. I immediately
wrapped some stones I had laying around and shared them with
friends and I was on my path. The very reality that an endeavor
that allows me to work with art, science, nature and more has
presented itself, cultivated over time of course, is proof to
me there is such a thing as right work for people. I often describe
my personal and artistic philosophies in terms of the Tao, the
less I do the less I leave undone. This makes me a bit of a
minimalist, where I believe there is great strength, as I want
the assembled elements to speak and function with their own
voices and also create synergy. To allow this to happen, there
have been many refinements over time, removing and then adding
elements and then removing more and so on, leaving only what
is useful. Like Mandalas, Medicine Wheels or Altars that are
composed then changed as circumstances do, my jewelry art has
been sculpted by time.
Analogous to a laser-beam
generating crystal, but made to work with subtle thought energy
rather than light, Vogel wands can modulate and focus energy
and also program water making it a carrier of the energetic
information they are focusing. Set together with Herkimer Diamond
quartz crystals and either Ametrine or Rhodolite Garnet, all
powerful tools to access & rejuvenate one's physical body, DNA
